2025‘’ Scientific Instruments ‘’Innovation Competition Finals Held

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei National Technology Innovation Centre hosted the 2025 "Scientific Instruments" Innovation Competition Finals in Songjiang, Shanghai, on September 13-14.

Organizers selected 52 projects for the finals from 171 total entries. These projects cover many practical uses, such as medical testing, environmental monitoring and information transmission. They include common scientific tools like mass spectrometers, gas chromatographs and lasers, as well as research reagents.

After two days of intense competition and several rounds of expert reviews, 10 top-winning projects stood out. Among them:

Henan Shuyu Technology Co., Ltd. won first prize with its locally made gas chromatograph.
Shanghai Jiao Tong University took second prize (among the top 5) with its "Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer" project.
The Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the People's Government of Songjiang District co-organized the event.

This championship does two key things:

It shows China’s strong ability to create its own scientific instruments and turn these ideas into real products.
2.It builds an important platform and creates opportunities for new developments in the scientific instruments field.
